design, graphic design

Do you ever wonder if the things that you do will ever make a difference? I don’t know about you but I have contemplated on that thought a fair number of times! Partially because I have often wondered if the things I do (design, take photos, draw, draw draw) will really help find a cure for cancer or win a noble prize. Yay to all my firends studying science, medicine, psychology, even commerce! You will get a chance to change someones, or even multitudes of lives. Man, with all your skills, you could do more than change someone’s life, you could save it! So a pat on the back to you all.

v&v got recently approached by PROJECTS through our friend Uwen. PROJECTS is an amazing initiative of Citylife Church to support a small Cambodian village Stung Kabal Domrey. Uwen asked whether we could design some badges they could sell in order to raise some funds for PROJECTS. Well we said yes! And it was so much fun doing it!

For the badge designs, Val and I sketched out some concepts and we came up with 4 in total.

1.Make the Difference 2. Be Love 3. You are Awesome. 4. And a Hipster Triangle badge. For my hipster brothers and sisters

I suppose this is one teeny tiny contribution that we can make to change someones life. All I’ve ever wanted is to make pretty things So if I can make pretty things and makes someone’s life better in the process, then you bet I’m going to keep doing it!

Here’s to prettiness, goodness, love, difference, change and hope! And to life changing tools such as floral prints, typography, flags, funky patterns, awesomeness and of course, to hipster triangles.

Make sure you buy your badge to show your support to this amazing cause.

Stay amazing
