 Hello lovely friends

Val here, with a fashion post of one of my most favourite blazers. I bought this darling jacket from Decjuba last New Years (end of year sales), while strolling casually down Bourke Road. I think I was there to return a Christmas present which was the wrong size and stumbled into Decjuba. As usual, I was immediately drawn to the colours and the richness of the pattern on this stunning blazer (and many others around it). Seeing that it was the last one and it was my size and it was $50 reduced from $90, I HAD to get it (ladies, you know what I’m talking about).

In the last photo you can see the sheer happiness on my face  at being the proud owner of such a lovely piece.

A little bit more about my outfit:

The top is from Forever 21, which was $7.50 from Camberwell market, and the pants were from Kinki Gerlinki at their factory outlet for $20.

So shopping on a discount my dear friends can be extremely rewarding and a very money saving experience.

In other news, I am very excited to share with you lovely friends, that I (Val) will be going to Leeds for exchange next year for six months. So from Jan-July, I will be studying with my dear friend Rach, in the freezing winter of the UK! To travel around Europe has been A DREAM of mine for a lifetime and to be given the opportunity to actually live somewhere where the Eiffel Tower is but a train ride away, is something so surreal, I have to pinch myself each time when thinking about it!  It will be winter other there, so coming from a hot Australia Christmas, will be very difficult, but will bring my woollies and thickest coats.

If any of our readers have been to Leeds or travelled around the UK, or are even from the UK, please shoot us a quick comment, of what I should bring, where I should go and what to expect!

Thanks to all my dear friends who have supported encouraged and prayed for me in making my decision to go!

You are all dearly loved!

-Val
