GRAND TRAILER PARK TAVERNA

Sometimes being a Melbournian, we think that we’ve seen it all when it comes to the restaurant cafe, foodie scene.

We know the formula for that perfect coffee shop; vintage chairs, rustic interior, large impressive coffee machine. Even for that great burger joint; sort of a throw back diner vibe with a bit of an American touch. True, we’re hardly cafe connoisseur and there’s no way we could be called an expert on the topic, but we’re been around, seen the sights. So truly when we heard about the Grand Trailer Park Taverna, we knew that we had to go and check it out. And boy were we impressed.

Successfully bringing the outside experiences of the trailer indoors, we were feeling a little shocked at first, but soon settled into the relaxed atmosphere and had to choose our nourishment from the menu. Which proved to be difficult due to the impressive ingredients in every burger. Once making our choice and receiving our burgers, we now faced the momentous tasks to finishing them. Tasty, big, unique and yum, Macca’s burgers had nothing on these monsters.

We finished the afternoon with full bellies, great chatter and some left over chips. Having caught up with the incredible Tristan who is our blogging super hero, he successfully aided our blog from the dark act of “changing hosts”, and the beautiful Liv and gorgeous Tiffany, we were successfully satisfied.

Definitely recommend checking this place out, the food’s a little on the pricey side, but if you’re looking for a relaxed, different place to spend a Saturday afternoon, The Grand Trailer Park Taverna is the place to visit. Now I better stop using phrases such as “recommend” and “checking this place out” lest our little blog turns into “Urban Spoon Stuff”.
We’ve got a whole heap of fun things planned for to share with you guys, collaborations in the mix, some fresh ideas to share and some new inspiring post ideas. Also, we’re looking to do more catch ups and meet up with other creatives, so send us and e-mail if you would like to connect!

Keep adventuring

Aww man, looking at these photos really makes me homesick for a good ol’ Melbourne brunch burger! Granted there is heaps of lovely food in Singapore, but that burger would really hit the spot right now! ):
