A young spirit from sunny Malaysia, currently based in the United Kingdom. -Mandy Faith

The above photos, besides the very first (which was taken by myself), were taken by the amazing and inspiring Mandy from Mandy Faith photography. Each photo holds such beauty and whimsical charm, both characteristics that I loved about Mandy and her photos. Beauty, grace, loveliness and simplicity could easily be seen through her and through her; blog, Facebook page and instagram. Having been blogger friends for nearly a year,  I was so excited when first I arrived in the UK to be given the chance to finally meet. Through facebook we pencilled in a date to meet up, with the intention to explore London and to allow our whimsical hearts wander the beauty of the city.

However, I found out this morning, that my dreams of meeting this amazing person would have to be put on hold. Mandy, with her beauty, grace, gifts and charm sadly passed away from a virus yesterday. Her young spirit and her lovely nature was taken away from us, sooner than expected. I’m sorry friends that this post is not in my usual upbeat tempo, or if my writing does not display accurately the emotion that I feel right now.

I would just like pay respects to this amazing person that I know made such an amazing impact and contribution to the world and in the hearts of many.

Even just though her photos, she taught me how to see the world with constant awe, with a sense of wonderment and passion for the small beautiful things in life. She taught me from our interactions (which were sadly limited to being only online) that to care for another person is to really care deeply, through your words and your actions.

Dear Mandy, keep your calendar free, cause there’s so much more exploring we’ve got to do

I miss her too (although I have never meet her before), I instantly fall in love with Mandy’s photos when I discovered her IG almost a year ago, I traveled virtually through her lens each time reading her Europe stories and I can no longer do it that way anymore ='( Her talented spirit & inspired works will always stay with her fans =)

Glad to discover your site while reading back Mandy’s old blog posts. Your blog are lovely! ^^

Hi Irene C! I know, it’s so easily to fall in love with Mandy’s work, especially her landscape and the poetic way she looks at the world. My sister and I were discussing, how its sort of really nice, that she will forever be remembered through her photos and through her blog and instagram. I’m so glad that you enjoy BPS! Keep coming and having a look! xo
