To start this post I feel that I should actually describe my outfit. I do think that from the previous post we didn’t really detail what exactly I was wearing and there were some speculation on the brand of my shoes! (they were from Wintter btw!) So in this post, my pants are from Deborah K in boxhill ($12), the top from Bangkok ($10) and my hat from Tempt ($10). A serious mix bag of clothes that you couldn’t find that easily now! Haha, sorry. 😛
But what I really wanted to speak to you about is about letting go. These past weeks I’ve realised something about myself, which my be true for yourself or others, that I tend to hold too tightly to things and I’m too hard on myself in the process. Striving for perfection can only lead to dissapointment, striving for idealism can only result in unrealised dreams. Maybe its a bit more than that. Circumstances, time, people, they are factors that can contribute to a result.
Life really should be and could be, more than ourselves. It could be about putting smiles on peoples face. It could be about connection and loving people. It could be about leaving the world a better place.
Not too sure where that leaves you or me. But it does leave some thoughtful raindrops on our glass to watch and ponder and think about.
Val and our talented friend Sarah have been working on a collaboration recently and they are so excited to share the photos with you! Val’s photos are seriously so amazing, she really knows how to use light, composition and her subjects to produce images of emotion and resonance
have a joyful morning!
