Hello there friends!
I was letting Vess know the other day that I haven’t had a blog post in a while, so was very pleased when Vess was able to take a few photos for me last week! These lovely shots were taken at the gardens behind the NGV where there are some gorgeous vegetables and wonderfully cool chairs!
We were at the NGV for the amazing Melbourne Now Exhibition which is being held till the end of March.
“Melbourne Now celebrates the latest art, architecture, design, performance and cultural practice to reflect the complex creative landscape of Melbourne.”
Aiming to create a wonderful synergy through hundreds of collaborations between creatives of Melbourne, Melbourne Now is “designed to promote engagement with contemporary art in new and dynamic ways”. So, local Melbournians, I employ you, even if you have never been too keen on the art world, to go visit the Ian Potter centre or the NGV. Take your kids, grandparents, friends, people who you want to be friends with and experience all that Melbourne has to offer (did I mention that it’s all FREE?).
In this post I am wearing an assortment of brands; H&M leopard top which I bought in Japan for $5, a Forever New jumper which was $40, BIGW shoes for $5, Lovisa necklace $10 and a skirt from Malaysia gifted to us from our mum (price, unknown). And my funky yellow and wood necklace from Melbourne Now, which I got to make and take home (for FREE!) in the NGV.
And ignore my awkward smile in some of these, there were two little girls watching me as we were taking these photos. They probably wanted to have a go at sitting in this very cool squiggly chair.
Wander, explore and discover.
