Hello lovely friends!
The sun is shining in Melbourne (which can be quite a rare sight), the sky is blue and it’s a wonderful day to be alive! It’s heading to the busy part of the year, especially for year 12s and Uni students. So we send waves of encouragement and prayers for all of our dear friends who may be heading into their exam period or who may be preparing for their year 12 exams.
Year 12 can be such a stressful times, especially with the assumed pressure of parents, of teachers and friends. I still remembered the many late nights rushing to finish our folios for VCD (visual communication and design) and the final hours of stress and the relief we felt when it was finally finished. It is truly a period, which I learnt a lot about myself, trusting in God and trusting in His plan for my life.
I took comfort in the story of Daniel and his friends. When taken to Babylon, they were chosen by the king to be among his courts and to be trained among many other young men. Even though Daniel and his friends were in a hostile, competitive environment, they still sought to bring glory to God in everything they did and in turn they found favor with the God and the King.
Have a lovely afternoon of great weather and little delights!
And here Vess is wearing a darling dress from Portmans, which is very Zoey Deschanel like. I love the lovely details at the bottom and the polka dots! We matched it with a pastel cardigan and sparkly silver shoes which are equally adorable! Love the balloons in this shot, so joyful and fun.
